With our team of experienced and fully qualified staff we carry out surveys and remove all types of asbestos, providing piece of mind, reassurance and healthy work and living spaces for all of our clients.

All our surveyors are qualified to P402 standards (the qualification recognised as the competency standard by the Health and Safety Executive).

Our surveys are designed to satisfy the law on asbestos management, the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006.

Our samples are sent to an independent UKAS accredited laboratory for analysis.

The Duty to Manage

The law requires that all asbestos containing materials within your premises are identified and managed to ensure that they are maintained in good condition so that asbestos exposure is prevented.

Where is Asbestos Used?

Unless your premises was constructed after 1999, there is a chance that asbestos can be found in ceiling tiles, partition panels, insulation to pipework and heating systems, fire protection to structural steelwork, floor tiles, cement roofs, gutters and drainage systems.

Why is Asbestos a Problem?

Exposure can lead to a variety of deadly diseases. The duty to manage is designed to identify asbestos in the property so that exposure to the occupiers, builders and tradesmen can be prevented. There is no duty to remove asbestos. The duty is to manage and we provide practical guidance in the management plan that is provided in your report.

Your Report

Our asbestos surveying consultancy will identify where asbestos is present in your building and provide risk assessments in accordance with government guidelines (MDHS 100 and HSG 227).

We will provide you guidance in clear English and assist you in the implementation of the management plan. Where asbestos is in such poor condition that the only reasonable course of action is for it to be removed, we can help you find the right Asbestos removal contrator to undertake the project.

Where asbestos is in good condition and can remain in situ we offer an annual re-inspection plan.

The purpose of re-inspection is to monitor the condition to ensure that the asbestos has not deteriorated over time (typically through impact or accidental damage) and that the statutory risk assessment associated with asbestos is up to date.
