Training Courses

Training for staff members should be specific to their job role. For instance, if your staff members are expected to fight a small fire with extinguishers, our fire extinguisher training courses are the ideal solution. It is worth remembering that when hiring new staff members it is advisable to gain some idea of the fire safety training they may have had in the past, if this is insufficient, training them is an essential procedure.

Naturally your fire marshals will require additional training so they can perform their responsibilities in the event of a fire. Fortunately, UK Fire Training can give full training on issues such as evacuation and ongoing fire prevention methods.

Fire Safety

Our training courses will include all of the following:

  1. Current Legislation
  2. The effect fire can have on companies
  3. The chemical processes of fire
  4. What causes fire
  5. Fire evacuation and protection
  6. How staff should react to fire
  7. Fire protection procedures
  8. Extinguisher training

Fire Extinguisher Training

Elements included in our fire extinguisher training courses:

  1. Fire extinguisher identification

Training programmes may include live fire fighting demonstrations in a safe area although this is not a constituent of all our courses. The confidence gained from an effective fire training course is immeasurable. As a result your staff may be able to assist the Fire Brigade and could make a real difference.

The courses provided by UK Fire Training comply with all IFE regulations and are approved by the body. This will add to your staff member's credentials giving them legal certification and recognition from a 3rd party organisation. Our bespoke approach means that a course can be constructed that will meet your needs specifically; focusing on elements such as:

  1. The location of fire extinguishers in your workplace
  2. Evacuation and fire drill policy
  3. Recognition of potential fire risks on your site
  4. Fire safety procedures in general
  5. Staff roles in the event of a fire

All the trainers at UK Fire Training can draw on years of experience in the Fire Service. This means our services are ultimately realistic and effective, allowing trainees to ask questions on all elements of fire safety. Remember that your staff members should be trained regularly making refresher courses essential.

The Westminster Diocese Property Services Office engaged Ace Asbestos Limited to undertake Type 2 surveys on the majority of parishes in this Diocese as they proved to be the most competitive and efficient from the list circulated.

The surveys were conducted efficiently and the reports were filed promptly to both the parish and this office. The reports were easy to follow and comprehensive.

The company still provide other services to the Diocese in advising on Fire Risk Assessments and management of asbestos within the register provided.
